Future Prediction with Cheese, and Therapy Capital of the World
In his book Zero to One, Peter Thiel says he liked to ask the following question in his interviews: “What important truth do very few people agree with you on?”... He goes on to explain why. “It’s intellectually difficult because the knowledge that everyone is taught in school is by definition agreed upon. And it’s psychologically difficult because anyone trying to answer must say something she knows to be unpopular.”
Predicting your Future by Reading Cheese: A few months ago, I told a chef in Vancouver that he would soon experience major growth in his career and take on much more responsibility, and that the letter B would somehow be involved. How did I know? Some cheese told me. He’d been standing next to a particularly veiny piece of blue cheese, and asked me to read his fortune from it. Predicting the future using cheese is something I do as a side business, and from what I can tell, there aren’t very many of us doing this anymore.

Guinness Book of World Records is a Branding Agency: Keeping its core proposition intact, the company has come full circle to creating content for marketing... Fay claims that 95% of companies that make a world record attempt saw an increase in media coverage, 88% saw an increase in web traffic, and 69% saw an increase in sales. GWR’s own annual revenue is reportedly north of US$ 100 million. The record-breaking service isn’t just limited to companies – individuals can apply to break records too.

Argentina: The Therapy Capital of the World: Buenos Aires natives go hungry to pay for psychoanalysis, amid growing instability, anxiety – and societal acceptance... Maestros of the nation's two passions, psychology and tango, joined hands in Buenos Aires to create what became known as "psicotango" – part group dance class, part meditation... Even the Pope, born in Buenos Aires, is "not immune to the national pastime", said Hennell. When Pope Francis was still known as Jorge Mario Bergoglio, he visited a psychoanalyst for six months at the age of 42 – a process that he said left him feeling spiritually "free".
